Schedule
DAY 1
Registration turns celebration.
The MDC family gathers for registration at the amazing Judson Church. All 150 dancers join together for a centering / movement practice, followed with a commencement speech from the MDC owners and guest speakers. The first 3 main classes will follow at the studio, along with a social hour for the parents / supporters and each group of dancers.
DAY 2
Full day / night of classes.
The guys commune for their first packed day of classes. 2 core classes (ballet and jazz) and then a combination of specialty courses and clinics from world renowned instructors. Also included are parents activities, lectures, and group discussions.
DAY 3
Classes and an evening out.
Day three, a Saturday busy with classes from morning till around 5pm. An organized group gathering for a Broadway show will be available along with recommendations on specialty drop-in classes throughout NYC.
DAY 4
Full day and night of classes, clinics, and more.
Day four is another busy one for the guys. Hopefully their excursion the night before inspired them and energized them for what is in store for the last big class day of the conference.
DAY 5
Half day of classes with closing ceremony / demos.
The last day of MDC goes out with a bang. Participants get classes from morning till afternoon and then share their class work in a casual setting and group gathering. It is the most satisfying and rewarding day of the conference.
It is a great experience, my son is older so he already loves dance, but it was great to see boys from 8 to over 18. I was very impressed with the caliber of Teachers and Students. It was worth every penny. Next year we will be back for sure!
